The Photography Club of GEC had its second meeting on the 20th of August, which mainly consisted of a hands-on on-campus nature photography session. Most members turned up despite the fact that the meeting had been scheduled (coincidentally of course) in the midst of some members' internal exams!! The enthusiastic shutterbugs had a splendid time out in the open, clicking snaps and sharing information about various tricks of photography. The photoshoot was carried out around the back of the campus (in the (in)famous windmill area).
The photography was (informally) centered on macro photography. Members had a lot of fun clicking snaps of flowers, little insects, and even a certain member of the gastropoda class of molluscs which hogged the limelight for quite some time!!A field trip to Big Foot, Loutolim was planned, to view a photography exhibition by students of noted Goan photographer Mr. Prasad Pankar’s institute, The CMYK Academy of Photography, Mapusa.
The evening ended with a small presentation given by Mr. Pranav Vernekar.
