The
Photography Club of GEC had its second meeting on the 20th of August, which mainly consisted of a hands-on on-campus nature photography session. Most members turned up despite the fact that the meeting had been scheduled (
coincidentally of course) in the midst of some members' internal exams!! The enthusiastic shutterbugs had a splendid time out in the open, clicking snaps and sharing information about various tricks of photography. The photoshoot was carried out around the back of the campus (in the (
in)famous windmill area).

The photography was (
informally) centered on macro photography. Members had a lot of fun clicking snaps of flowers, little insects, and even a certain
member of the gastropoda class of molluscs which hogged the limelight for quite some time!!
A field trip to Big Foot, Loutolim was planned, to view a photography exhibition by students of noted Goan photographer Mr. Prasad Pankar’s institute, The CMYK Academy of Photography, Mapusa.
The evening ended with a small presentation given by Mr. Pranav Vernekar.

Say Cheeeeeese!!
