'New Beginnings' Competition Entries

The monthly photography competition for the month of January marked the new year with the wonderful topic, "New Beginnings". Refreshed by the vacations, members applied a lot of thought on the topic, and loads of creative pics were submitted.

All in all, 15 entries were received for the competition.

February Photography Competition!!

Another month, another competition from Photography Club of GEC !! We've been really impressed by the standards that the photographs submitted for this competition are reaching, and hope that the enthusiasm in the art of clickographie continues on this exponential rise. The monthly competitions are truly showcasing the hidden talent amongst all of us!!

And as always, the topic that has been chosen remains true to the spirit of the month!! Don't really think we need to say anything else.... the topic, for the month when cupid goes on a romantic run, and St. Valentine gets ready to spread some joy, is "Love".

Love doesn't only mean love between two individuals. The interpretation of the topic is open to one's imagination!! Love towards your nation, Love towards your work or even simply love towards engineering are a few examples of alternate interpretations of the theme!!

Each person will be allowed a maximum of three (not two) entries.

Kindly submit your photographs along with the following details:

• Caption
• Description (Explain the concept of the picture)
  
• Photographic details (ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, Focal length etc)

The last date for entries is 28st February 2010

The judging for the competition will be done by professional Goan photography ace Mr. Prasad Pankar.
