Over the last few months, the Photography Club of GEC has grown by leaps and bounds, and we've explored the world of photography through many mediums ranging from exhibition visits to lectures to phototreks. The monthly theme based competitions have become the talk of the campus, with the Photography Club notice board becoming one of the most talked about notice boards on campus!! And it just keeps getting better!And this month, the biggest name in Indian photography will be associated with the competition. I'm talking about photography ace Daboo Ratnani, who was recently selected as The Most Influential Person in Asian Photography, who has graciously agreed to judge the competition for the month of March.
And the topic he has chosen for the competition is: "Innocence".
The dictionary defines the term innocence as freedom from sin or moral wrong; freedom from legal or specific wrong; guiltlessness; simplicity; absence of guile or cunning.
Yet this definition doesn't manage to capture the essence of the term. Innocence is something that we all recognise, yet are unable to define. And as such, it's a topic that can be very well expressed through photographs!!
Each person will be allowed a maximum of three entries.
Kindly submit your photographs along with the following details:
- Caption
- Description (Explain the concept of the picture)
- Photographic details (ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, Focal length etc)
