Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication (SIMC), Pune, one of the top media schools of India, has come down to Goa to organize a popular media seminar called Footprints.Footprints is a Pan - India Media Seminar organized in over 23 cities in India and overseas.
Footprints’09 is a one of a kind media event which gives you guys an opportunity get a glimpse at the Indian media industry!

There are many events and talks organised for the event, with speakers ranging from environmentalists to novelists talking on issues ranging from snake conservation to growth of marketing in Goa. A quiz has also been organised on the topic "Know Your Goa".
More importantly, they have a photography event as well!! Here are the details:
Theme: Heritage photography Details: A photography contest where students are to submit their 3 best pictures on 6’4’ photo-paper and win exciting prizes.
Registration for the event are on-the-spot.
Details are pretty fuzzy at the moment, but one thing is guaranteed: Participating in this event is a sure fire way of going head to head with some of Goa's finest photographers. And after all, exposure at the state level is one of the needs of the hour for the club.
